It doesn't look like such an impressive effort in the picture but I baked 6 kinds of cookies and packaged some up to ship off tomorrow. I'll pack up some more tomorrow, probably. I'm tired of looking at cookies!! LOL
What did everyone else accomplish this weekend? :o)
Oh Cindy - you didn't have to accomplish anything this weekend! :o) The best weekends are when you get to do nothing, I say! LOL However, this time of year it's hard to find a weekend like that.
The cookies are freezable but they don't usually get frozen. I mail them to people, I take them to work...sometimes I even eat a few. ;-) Although, usually after all the baking I just want them GONE! Except for the peanut butter blossoms (good eye!)...they are my faves and they never seem to make it out of my house. Hmmm. I wonder why that is?

Kristie -the cut-outs are always the cookies I dread making the most! But it just isn't Christmas-y without them. I have a really cool gadget to roll them out on that makes it go pretty fast. Then, when I'm decorating, I make a big vat of icing and dip the cookies and put them on a cooling rack to drip and catch sprinkles that go astray. :o) After all these years, I've got it down...unless I run out of powdered sugar (thankfully, not this year). :-D
Wait.
We had to accomplish something!?
Having baked a few times I know just how much effort that had to take! Do you freeze your treats? Are they freezable? And are those peanut butter kiss cookies? Do you have my address ;)
Great job! I'm going to go and paint something so I can have something to report ;)
